Why
DoujiCon is Australia’s first and only entirely independent cartoonists convention. It’s not a comic convention. It’s not an anime convention. It’s a cartoonists convention.
What that means is that the event is for cartoonists, by cartoonists, aimed at people that want to be or just like cartoonists… regardless of style.
There are numerous classes and workshops throughout the day, detailing how to make comics, from basic illustration, to production, all the way to complex and abstract issues, such as distribution and audience demographics.
